Bike Experience

From March to November the Bike Experience team is offering 4 free and adapted training sessions:

  • Afterwork Bike Experience - every first Wednesday of the month from March to October: Do you have a classic bike and want professional advice and tips from cycling aces? Here's where that happens!
  • Electric bike - 22/5 and 23/10: You have an electric bike and want theory and practical training to avoid the Brussels traffic.
  • Beginner's training - 17/7 and 13/11: Have you just started cycling with traffic and would like to feel at ease cycling in Brussels?
  • Family Cargo Bike - 13/6: Come and listen to the advice from our cargo bike experts and learn more about using it as a parent.

Take part in an Afterwork Bike Experience

During this short training session, we will look at good cycling habits before going for a ride along the streets of Brussels. To get to know each other better and why not leave with a personal coach, we will have a drink together.

A monthly meet-up

The Afterworks Bike Experiences take place every first Wednesday of the month from March to November from 6 pm to 9:30 pm at Théâtre Marni (rue de Vergnies 25, 1050 Ixelles). Not free on Wednesday evenings? No problem, some Saturday afternoons are also planned.

Ride with a coach

Like the sound of this? An experienced volunteer cyclist is ready to join you for 3 round trips on the route of your choice over 2 weeks... why not try out your journey to work!

No bike?

No problem: Pro Velo will lend you one for free for the training session and/or for the two weeks! Reserve one via the registration form.

Cycling was a way for me to get around while doing sport. When you are a mum and you work full time, it isn't easy finding time for sport. So I thought, why not combine practicality and pleasure. Getting around while doing sport and the bet has easily been won because now I do practically 100% of my journeys by bike.
