As a part of Heritage days, do take the time to cycle around the municipality of Schaerbeek.

Spend an afternoon discovering the many faces of Schaerbeek, Brussels’ second-largest municipality by population. From the old village at the heart of the “Donkey Town” to the town as it is today, via the grand avenues of the Belle Époque, its streets still bear the traces of many different landscapes. Cycle through green spaces and past Art Nouveau and Art Deco homes, and find out about the projects and challenges that will shape Schaerbeek’s future. A journey through time by bike, without venturing far from home.

This guided tour was created in collaboration with Urban Brussels and with the support of the National Lottery, committed to preserving heritage and ensuring access to culture for everyone.
